Senior PsychCare in Houston, TX seeks a Certified Coder I to support our Billing Team. The coder will extract data from clinical documentation and assign ICD-10-CM/CPT codes and modifiers for billing and reporting. CPC certification is required.

The role focuses on outpatient coding for mental healthcare, with collaboration across clinical and administrative staff to improve revenue cycle processes. This is a full-time, in-person position with standard weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Two years of outpatient coding experience, preferably Mental Healthcare.
• Ability to code for physicians, including E&M Levels.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assigns codes for diagnoses, treatments, and procedures for outpatient encounters.
• Submits claims promptly with accurate coding and billing information.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to resolve billing and coding issues.
