Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer for a full-time, direct-hire position at an onsite occupational health clinic in San Antonio, TX. New grads encouraged to apply. The role includes on-site patient care, wellness activities, and floor-based assessments in a manufacturing setting.

The ATC will support approximately 10-15 patients, provide injury prevention, and lead group fitness and educational classes. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–12:00 AM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Athletic Training Education Program.
• Active BLS/CPR certification (hands-on courses only).
• Current annual TB screening (PPD or QuantiFERON Gold test).
• Passion for promoting health and well-being in the workplace.
• Positive attitude, excellent customer service, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an early intervention program by performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examinations, providing first aid in accordance with OSHA standards, and educating employees on injury prevention.
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies.
• Lead group and individual training sessions focused on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs.
• Collaborate with onsite medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures.
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Participate in meetings and task forces.

This position is located at a manufacturing company with an onsite clinic that provides occupational, primary, and preventive care services for employees. The Athletic Trainer will support approximately 10-15 patients through routine wellness and injury-prevention touchpoints. You will work alongside the clinical team to provide injury prevention, first aid, general wellness services, and health promotion. This role also includes non-appointment-based activities on the production floor, evaluating the physical demands of job tasks, and leading group fitness, stretching, and educational classes.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 3:00PM-12:00AM

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - BOC Certified
• Current Mississippi Athletic Trainer License
• Experience in occupational health and safety; knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred
• Experience with ergonomics preferred
