Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer for a full-time, direct-hire role at an onsite occupational health clinic in San Antonio, TX. The position supports 10-15 patients daily and includes on-floor duties such as ergonomics assessments and health promotion.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–12:00 AM, with a focus on injury prevention, first aid, and active collaboration with the medical and safety teams.

Qualifications

• BOC-certified Athletic Trainer with active license.
• Currently licensed as Athletic Trainer in Mississippi.
• Experience in occupational health and safety; OSHA knowledge preferred.
• Experience with ergonomics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an early intervention program with musculoskeletal exams and injury prevention education.
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and suggest preventive measures.
• Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with onsite medical and safety teams to coordinate care and workplace countermeasures.
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Maintain patient health records for up-to-date documentation.
• Participate in meetings and task forces.

Certified Athletic Trainer needed for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with Yoh's occupational health clinic client located in San Antonio, TX. Start as soon as possible. New graduates are encouraged to apply! Open Opportunities in Mississippi as well!

This position is located at a manufacturing company with an onsite clinic that provides occupational, primary, and preventive care services for employees. The Athletic Trainer will support approximately 10-15 patients through routine wellness and injury-prevention touchpoints. You will work alongside the clinical team to provide injury prevention, first aid, general wellness services, and health promotion. This role also includes non-appointment-based activities on the production floor, evaluating the physical demands of job tasks, and leading group fitness, stretching, and educational classes.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 3:00PM-12:00AM

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - BOC Certified
• Current Mississippi Athletic Trainer License
• Experience in occupational health and safety; knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred
• Experience with ergonomics preferred

What You'll Be Doing:

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Athletic Training Education Program
• Active BLS/CPR certification (hands-on courses only)
• Current annual TB screening (PPD or QuantiFERON Gold test)
• Passion for promoting health and well-being in the workplace
• Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
