Yoh Healthcare seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer for an onsite clinic at a manufacturing site in Blue Springs, MO. This full-time, direct-hire role supports 10-15 employees with wellness and injury prevention programs. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

The Athletic Trainer will perform musculoskeletal exams, first aid per OSHA standards, and lead preventive training on the production floor, collaborating with medical and safety teams.

Formación

• ATC certification and licensure required.
• Experience in occupational health and safety; OSHA knowledge preferred.
• Ergonomics experience is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a clinic setting.

Certified Athletic Trainer

needed for a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with Yoh's occupational health clinic client located in Blue Springs, MS. Start as soon as possible. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

This position is located at a manufacturing company with an onsite clinic that provides occupational, primary, and preventive care services for employees. The Athletic Trainer will support approximately 10-15 patients through routine wellness and injury-prevention touchpoints. You will work alongside the clinical team to provide injury prevention, first aid, general wellness services, and health promotion. This role also includes non-appointment-based activities on the production floor, evaluating the physical demands of job tasks, and leading group fitness, stretching, and educational classes.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-11:00 PM
(Second opening available: Monday-Friday 6:00 AM-2:30 PM)

Top Skills You Should Possess

• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) - BOC Certified
• Current Mississippi Athletic Trainer License
• Experience in occupational health and safety; knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred
• Experience with ergonomics preferred

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and implement an early intervention program by performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examinations, providing first aid in accordance with OSHA standards, and educating employees on injury prevention
• Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies
• Lead group and individual training sessions focused on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs
• Collaborate with onsite medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures
• Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation
• Participate in meetings and task forces

What You Need to Bring to the Table

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Athletic Training Education Program
• Active BLS/CPR certification (hands-on courses only)
• Current annual TB screening (PPD or QuantiFERON Gold test)
• Passion for promoting health and well-being in the workplace
• Positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
