Job summary

CSN is seeking an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to provide interpretation for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students, employees, and community members across CSN programs and events, including courses, meetings, trainings, and community events.

The role requires high school graduation, Nevada Community Interpreter registration, and national certification (EIPA or NAD-RID). You will work as part of a interpreting team and maintain confidentiality and professional conduct in all settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Nevada Community Interpreter registration is required.
• National certification: EIPA or NAD-RID is required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret English into ASL and ASL into English.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and records.
• Represent the institution professionally and comply with policies.
• Complete service verification records and documentation accurately.
