Job summary

Walmart Sam’s Club in Houston, TX is seeking an Optical Associate, Certified (ABO) to join our team. You’ll stock, display, and maintain the Optical area, process member purchases, and support eye care services under the guidance of a licensed optometrist.

Responsibilities include measuring pupillary distance, fitting frames, handling eyewear orders, collaborating with labs, and helping members with insurance claims while upholding HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• Active ABO certification and ongoing CE requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Apprenticeship or state licensure requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Stock, merchandise displays, and maintain the Optical area per policies.
• Assist with eyewear orders, measuring Pupillary Distance, and frame adjustments.
• Process member purchases, payments, returns using the POS system.
• Collaborate with labs and optometrists on orders and repairs.
