Job summary

Alkegen is seeking a Line Operator for its Tonawanda, NY facility to set up, operate and control equipment used in ceramic fiber manufacturing. You’ll assist in QA checks, maintain productivity, and ensure safe operations while supporting supply chain tasks and material handling.

This 12‑hour shift rotates 7‑7 with 4 days on/4 days off. The role requires a high school diploma, manufacturing experience, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to learn and access information through computer databases.
• Experience reading and interpreting simple gauges.
• Follow work instructions and provide feedback for improvements.

Responsibilities

• Operate various equipment to meet daily KPI targets for Safety, Quality, and Production Rate.
• Follow written work instructions and perform chemical batching and transfers between process tanks.
• Complete process record sheets and monitor equipment for minor repairs.
• Conduct quality checks per QA work instruction as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workplace; assist in packaging and material handling.
