Job summary

Alkegen is hiring for a Line Operator II in Buffalo, NY. You will set up, operate, and control equipment used in the manufacturing of ceramic fiber products, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with 2–4 years of batching experience in manufacturing and willingness to learn. This is a full-time, on-site position with a 12-hour shift schedule (4 on/4 off).

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; 2–4 years of proven batching experience in manufacturing.
• Prior chemical operator experience is preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate various equipment to meet daily KPI targets for safety, quality, and production.
• Follow work instructions and batch chemical solutions; manage transfers between tanks.
• Record process data and perform quality checks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and assist with maintenance.
• Provide relief for other production areas and support safety initiatives.
