Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to operate walk-behind powered material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform material handling in designated workstations requiring a basic operational proficiency.
• Follow written work instructions and meet established productivity standards.
• Accurately report material usage and daily productivity metrics.
• Complete safety assessments and follow all safety procedures within assigned work areas.
• Maintaining clean and safe equipment and ensure an orderly work environment.
• Evaluate materials against basic quality standards and report issues as needed.
• Assist in training new Plant Operator B team members as needed.
• Provide relief coverage for other production areas as needed.
• May assist Plant Operator A’s in higher proficiency work tasks.
• Promote and uphold the highest level of safety standards, including identifying and addressing unsafe conditions or behaviors.
• Embody Alkegen’s core safety principles at all times, including but not limited to, the 7 Safety Absolutes, proper PPE use, and Safe Standards of Work.
• Comply with all Federal, State, Local and Company health, safety, and environmental regulations.
