Job summary

Alkegen in Indiana is seeking a production operator to set up, adjust, and operate equipment for fabricated ceramic fiber products. You will ensure product quality, meet productivity standards, and maintain a safe operation.

Reports to FAB Products Supervisor and coordinates with maintenance, QA, and shipping. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, prior manufacturing experience, and strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency is required.
• Previous manufacturing/industrial experience is preferred.
• Ability to navigate work instruction system (CEBOS).
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate equipment for fabricated ceramic fiber production.
• Control and monitor production lines to ensure quality and productivity.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts).
• Prepare daily production schedules and reports.
• Perform minor adjustments for weight and size as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; follow 5S and safety rules.
