Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Director of CEO Communications in Princeton, NJ to shape and execute an integrated CEO communications approach. You will translate enterprise priorities into clear messaging and ensure the CEO’s voice is reflected across engagements.

You will lead high-impact initiatives, partner with senior leaders, and collaborate with Media Relations to align external communications strategy. This role emphasizes strategic storytelling and executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Significant experience supporting and advising senior executives; experience working with C-suite leaders required.
• Proven ability to operate as a strategic partner, bringing forward ideas, shaping messaging and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Strong executive presence and judgement, with the ability to navigate complex, high-visibility environments.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with experience developing executive-level communications for high-impact moments.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Media Relations, Legal, Government Affairs, and other key enterprise partners.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the VP to shape CEO communications strategy, bringing insights and recommendations aligned to priorities.
• Lead as the chief writer translating strategic direction into communication plans for CEO engagements.
• Oversee end-to-end planning and delivery of CEO communications across internal and external platforms.
• Drive select CEO communications initiatives from concept through execution.
• Support preparation for CEO external engagements, including speeches and talking points.
