Job summary

Qualifications

• Decontamination and cleaning of surgical instrumentation per manufacturer instructions.
• Knowledge of detergents and disinfectants for cleaning and sterilization.
• Inventorying, stocking and delivering supplies and equipment per guidelines.
• Documenting quality control and instrument tracking in IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination and cleaning of instruments and equipment.
• Apply proper cleaning agents and adhere to standard precautions.
• Maintain inventory, restock supplies, and rotate stock.
• Perform and document quality control of sterilization processes.
• Operate sterilizers and ensure aseptic technique during packaging.
