Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Part Time Casual, As Needed (PRN) Sterile Processing Technician-Non-Certified in a hospital setting. You will decontaminate, clean and sterilize surgical instruments and endoscopes, prepare packs for cases, and monitor sterilization processes.

Responsibilities include maintaining instrument tracking records, stocking and assisting in case preparation, and providing customer service to OR staff and external customers.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree, High School or GED (Required)
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, disinfect and clean reusable surgical instruments.
• Prepare and package instrumentation for procedures.
• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and document quality controls.
• Enter and search instrument tracking data.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning and transporting supplies.
• Provide direct customer service to operating rooms and external customers.
