Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited school of Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology.
• Knowledge of infectious control techniques and medical terminology.
• Current full CRCST or CSPDT certification; maintain certification with CEUs and renewals.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, process, and sterilize supplies and equipment.
• Charge, bill, and log service and patient charges for the OR.
• Perform daily biological testing and participate in projects.
