The Central Scheduler is responsible for scheduling procedures within Madisonhealth in conjunction with the patient’s Physician’s office. This position verifies insurance eligibility through Experian and ensures the patient is confident with the dates, times and locations of all procedures being scheduled. This position is often the patient’s first contact with Madisonhealth and is expected to help all patients in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. The Central Scheduler is required to work within a team setting, and they will be expected to contribute in meeting department goals and objectives as it relates to the beginning of the patient care plan.
