Job summary

Spinato’s Pizzeria is seeking a bartender to deliver a guest-first experience and provide high-quality beverage service on our bar. You will prepare cocktails, beer, and wine while maintaining stock and upholding safety standards.

The role requires certification as a Food Handler and AZ Alcohol, the ability to lift heavy items, and endurance for long shifts in a fast-paced environment. Equal opportunity employer offering teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Current Food Handler Certification is required.
• AZ Alcohol Certification is required.
• Ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and team members.
• Ability to lift up to/over 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in environments with heat, cold, and water exposure.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and work shifts up to 12 hours.
• Willingness to perform cleaning and organizational duties.

Responsibilities

• Create a guest-first atmosphere with friendly, professional service.
• Accurately and efficiently ring in guest orders.
• Prepare cocktails, beer, and wine according to Spinato’s recipes and specifications.
• Stock and maintain bar inventory including beer, wine, liquor, glassware, ice, and supplies.
• Monitor and control bar inventory.
• Slice and juice fruit as needed for service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar area.
• Communicate effectively with team members across all departments.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
• Comply with all local and state alcohol laws.
• Adhere to all Spinato’s policies and procedures regarding alcohol service.
