Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Central Operations Service Representative for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Roseville, CA, within the banking and consumer lending industry. The Central Operations role supports a wide range of operational functions, including ACH, wire transfers, remote deposit capture, Regulation E claims, debit cards, legal processes, account maintenance, online banking support, dormant accounts, and related administrative functions. Key Responsibilities

• Support daily Central Operations functions, including account maintenance, ACH processing, wire transfers, remote deposits, returns, stop payments, chargebacks, debit cards, ATM balancing, and related operational tasks.


• Respond to moderately complex operational questions from internal teams, branch employees, clients, and vendors while ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.


• Assist with Regulation E claims, merchant disputes, legal processes, dormant account due diligence, online account opening reviews, and consumer or commercial online banking support.


• Identify process issues, support operational improvements, assist with procedure documentation, and participate in special projects as assigned.


• Maintain compliance with bank policies, internal procedures, and applicable state and federal banking regulations.


• Provide backup support across department functions, help train team members as needed, and maintain a professional, service-oriented image in all interactions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $24 to $32 per hour.


• Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.


• Location: Roseville, CA.


• For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Support a broad range of Central Operations functions within a bank or credit union environment.


• Process and resolve operational items such as ACH, wires, remote deposits, returns, disputes, account maintenance, online banking support, and dormant account activity.


• Communicate with branch teams, internal departments, clients, and vendors to resolve operational issues and reduce risk.


• Assist with procedures, call back duties, compliance support, special projects, and department backup coverage.


• High school diploma or equivalent required.


• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of bank operations experience in a bank or credit union required.


• For senior-level consideration, minimum of 5 years of Central Operations experience in a bank or credit union preferred.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.


• Intermediate to proficient 10-key skills required.


• Working knowledge of bank operations processes such as ACH, wire transfers, remote deposit capture, Regulation E claims, legal processes, debit cards, NSF items, non-posts, stop payments, check returns, ACH returns, and account maintenance.


• Ability to follow bank policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal banking regulations.


• Strong attention to detail with the ability to minimize risk and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


• Excellent communication, follow-through, problem-solving, and internal client service skills.


• Ability to prioritize, multitask, adapt to fluctuating daily volumes, and maintain regular attendance during scheduled hours.


• Professional, ethical, and respectful approach with a commitment to confidentiality, teamwork, and organizational values.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience acting as an escalation point within a Central Operations or bank operations department.


• Experience writing or updating operational procedures.


• Experience training team members or providing backup support across multiple operational functions.


• Familiarity with BSA, compliance coordination, online account opening risk review, CDARS, mobile deposit, legal actions, levies, subpoenas, and dormant account deadlines.


• Ability to support special projects, gather data, and prepare operational reports for management, audits, or internal review.
