• Professional, positive, and service-focused approach with the ability to actively listen and identify customer needs.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Teller for a direct hire opportunity in Lafayette, CA with a customer-focused banking environment. This role is ideal for a banking professional with strong teller experience, advanced new account opening knowledge, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.

The Teller will support consumer and business banking customers, open and maintain a variety of deposit accounts, process transactions, and identify opportunities to recommend appropriate banking products and services. This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative branch team, supportive leadership, and a professional culture focused on service, accuracy, compliance, and community involvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and support consumer and business checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and Trust and Estate accounts while ensuring proper documentation and account titling.
• Interview and profile customers to recommend appropriate banking products and services based on their financial needs.
• Process teller transactions as needed, maintain accurate balancing, and provide courteous service in person and by phone.
• Partner with internal business lines to identify sales opportunities, refer clients appropriately, and support branch profitability goals.
• Maintain compliance with banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements, information security standards, and new account procedures.
• Prepare and process assigned reports related to currency transactions, returned items, overdrafts, callbacks, and other branch operations.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $24.00 to $28.00 per hour.
• Job type: Direct hire.
• Location: Lafayette, CA.
