Job summary

Bethel School District is seeking staff to produce meals that meet nutritional requirements and projected meal needs. You will rotate through central kitchen production areas and support the production manager in maintaining quality and safety.

The role requires two years of quantity food production experience, a valid Washington state food handler's permit, and SNA certification. You may work in various school locations during meal service and contribute to cost containment while ensuring

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in quantity food production preferred.
• Valid Washington state food handler's permit and Serve Safe certification required.
• SNA (School Nutrition Association) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in production of nutritious food items following standardized recipes and production sheets.
• Maintains HACCP records and follows food safety procedures.
• Rotates through all central kitchen production areas and assists others as needed.
• Operates various commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Pulls food and non-food items from storage for production use.
• May be assigned to work in a school location during meal service.
• Supports cost containment measures while maintaining quality.
