Bethel School District 403 at Cedarcrest Middle seeks a part-time Classified/Child Nutrition worker to set up, serve meals, and clean serving areas. The role supports student nutrition and educational achievement in a school dining environment.

The position follows the PSE Salary Schedule Level 2 at $21.56 per hour, with hours varying across a 170-day year plus additional days. Fingerprinting and a Washington state food handler's permit are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper food handling techniques is required.
• Food safety and sanitation knowledge is essential.
• Ability to serve appropriate quantities and present food attractively.
• Ability to follow directions and meet meal pattern requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparation of various food items.
• Set up serving carts and warming ovens for serving meals.
• Fill condiment containers; set up utensils, napkins, trays and other serving items.
• Serve meals to students and staff; ensure correct portions and appealing presentation.
• Clean serving and meal areas between meals; refill containers and serving items.
• Move food into serving carts and ovens following safe handling procedures.
• Clean carts, tables and other serving areas after meals; store equipment.
• Clean refrigerators, storage areas and kitchen equipment regularly.
