Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk is seeking a Supervisor, Central Distribution to oversee inventory across clinical locations using the PeopleSoft PAR Management system. Responsibilities include replenishment, par level management, cycle counts, expiration verification, and daily delivery to units seven days a week.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid NYS driver’s license, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for long

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 100 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Train new materials handlers.
• Assign staff in the absence of a supervisor.
• Process PAR and adhoc orders for delivery daily to clinical units.
• Load and unload supplies; verify counts and expiration dates.
• Maintain central distribution inventory and rotate stock (FIFO).
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
