NYU Langone Health is seeking a Supervisor-Central Distribution to support inventory control, staffing, and delivery coordination of medical supplies across units. You will backfill the Inventory/Receiving Coordinator and help achieve turn goals, reorder points, and minimize stockouts.

Role emphasizes leadership, workflow planning, compliance with regulatory standards, and continuous process improvement within Materials Management and Central Distribution teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Education or Healthcare related field or a combination of similar education and experience.
• Knowledge of Materials Management general operations.
• Strong skills related to the management of inventory control with a minimum three years of responsible of progressive work experiences in supply distribution.
• Knowledge of specific health care products.
• Current membership and active participation in a relevant professional organizations.
• Must possess computer knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Maximize resources and adjust resources according to workload; plan workflow and distribute assignments to meet goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Monitor, audit and enhance quality of processes and products for customers by the department.
• Time management and shift planning; use timetables and year planners to set goals.
• Apply sterilization, decontamination and preparation principles; train on related sciences.
• Lead and develop staff; ensure diversity, teamwork, and a safe work environment.
• Follow documentation guidelines; participate in policy development and reporting.
