Job summary

DK Security is hiring a Central Control Operator in Michigan to monitor security and life safety systems and coordinate emergency responses 24/7 for State of Michigan properties. You will work with law enforcement, dispatchers, and facilities staff, ensuring rapid, clear communication and incident management.

Must have 18+, a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and be willing to get CPR/First Aid/AED certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) per MCL 338.1067.
• Must pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter (including for marijuana).
• Must not have felonies or misdemeanors related to dishonesty or security offenses per MCL 338.1060.
• Must be able to sit/stand/walk 8–12 hours and lift 50 lbs; CPR/First Aid/AED cert or willing to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process emergency information and requests (medical, threats, weather, etc).
• Initiate emergency responses and coordinate with law enforcement, dispatchers, and facilities staff.
• Monitor security cameras and life-safety systems; draft communications and after-action reports.
