  • Collaborate with the Administrator, Director of Nursing, Business Office, and Admissions teams.
  • Educate referral partners on facility services and capabilities.
  • Attend networking events and community outreach opportunities to strengthen referral relationships.
  • Monitor referral activity and help develop strategies to increase admissions and census growth.

Greenwood Center for Nursing is seeking a dynamic Central Admissions Nurse to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will drive admissions, build strong referral relationships, and ensure seamless transitions for residents throughout the Scranton area.

Position Summary

The Central Admissions Nurse is responsible for reviewing referrals, obtaining insurance authorizations, coordinating admissions, and serving as a clinical resource for referral partners. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge of skilled nursing services and experience navigating the admissions process from referral through admission.
