Job summary

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Desire and ability to lead and manage associates throughout multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated good judgement solving problems, making decisions, handling complaints and resolving grievances.
  • Certification as Food Safety Manager or willingness to obtain accreditation within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment to retain associates and customers.
  • Ensure that all quality standards are met and department appearance is maintained.
  • Hire, train and develop associates to meet department needs and objectives.
  • Attain departmental financial objectives and monitor budgetary goals.
  • Lead safety, sanitation and food safety compliance across the department.
  • Use RF units and company tools to manage inventory, production records and scheduling.
  • Maintain effective department communication and ensure proper staffing to meet service levels.
