Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a Department Manager to oversee assigned department operations, drive quality, and enhance customer service in Exeter, NH. You will hire, train and develop associates, manage inventories, and lead the team to meet financial objectives while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

You will foster a positive, inclusive work environment, model Hannaford's cultural behaviors, and use available tools to drive performance and integrity across the department.

Formación

• Strong understanding of store operations and total store merchandising techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• College degree or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Food Safety Manager or able to achieve accreditation within the first 90 days of employment.
• Accreditation must be maintained while employed in a position requiring accreditation.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure the maintenance of the department's appearance and presentation.
• Hire, train and develop associates to meet the department needs.

• Role model outstanding friendly customer service.
• Use good judgement in delegation, assignment, and follow-up for efficient performance.
• Ensure department associates are properly trained by certified trainers.
• Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed as outlined.
