Job summary

Ridley’s Family Markets in Jerome, Idaho seeks an Assistant Store Director to uphold merchandising, cleanliness, and stocking standards across center store departments including Grocery, non-foods, and Hardware. This role supports the Store Director, drives guest satisfaction, and coaches the team to deliver strong store performance.

The position requires prior retail management experience, forklift/pallet jack certification, and solid computer skills (Excel/Word/Sheets/Docs).

Qualifications

• Must have previous retail management experience.
• Certification required for forklift and/or pallet jack operation.
• Certifications may include food handler permits where required.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Google Sheets and Docs.
• Ability to operate pallet jack and forklift.
• Basic math skills and understanding of inventory, labor goals, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Maintain merchandising, cleanliness, and stocking standards in center store departments.
• Supervise store operations in support of the Store Director.
• Foster guest relations and support team members to improve sales and service.
• Coach and train team members; ensure compliance with policies and safety rules.
• Attend meetings and contribute to department and store planning.
