Job summary

Broulim’s in Idaho is seeking a Store Director Assistant to work closely with the Store Director, coordinating department activities, implementing store policies, and guiding the store team to deliver exceptional service. You will help manage daily operations, schedule staff, monitor performance metrics, and participate in budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail management or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of grocery industry practices and trends is advantageous.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Director in overseeing daily store operations, including inventory management, employee scheduling, and customer service.
• Coordinate with department managers to ensure efficient workflow and policy adherence.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance evaluation to store employees.
• Assist in developing strategies to drive sales and achieve financial targets.
• Monitor store performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Resolve customer complaints and inquiries promptly; escalate as needed.
• Conduct store inspections for cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
• Collaborate with vendors to maintain stock levels and negotiate terms.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports for senior management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
