Job summary

Healing Strides Counseling in Jerome, Idaho seeks an Assistant Store Director to oversee center store execution across Grocery, non-foods, Dairy, and GM categories. You will support the Store Director, supervise staff, and drive guest satisfaction through strong merchandising, pricing, and process discipline.

The role emphasizes training, safety, and adherence to company policies, while maintaining inventory control and cross-department coordination for smooth operations.

Qualifications

• CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: Certification required for operation of forklift and/or pallet jack.
• COMMUNICATION: Ability to write, speak, hear, and understand the spoken word to respond promptly to pages, requests, team members and guests.
• COMPUTER: Excellent computer skills including MS Excel, Word, Google Sheets and Docs etc. required.
• EQUIPMENT: Use or operate pallet jack, forklift, box cutters, ordering machine, computer, two-wheeler, etc.
• EXPERIENCE: Must have previous retail management experience.
• MATH: Basic math skills including money, weight, measurement, volume, percentages.
• MINIMUM AGE: 18; 21 to sell tobacco products/alcohol.
• REASON ABILITY: Apply common sense understanding to instructions and problems.

Responsibilities

• CENTER STORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage center store departments and CGO processes.
• STORE SUPERVISION: Maintain communication, morale, and teamwork; ensure compliance with policies.
• Assist in departmental budgets, inventory, and reporting; oversee training and discipline.
