Job summary

C-A-L Stores Companies Inc. in Idaho is seeking a highly organized individual to support daily store operations and management tasks. You will greet customers, assist with merchandising, train new associates, and help lead store meetings.

You will also participate in opening/closing duties, manage daily worklists, handle communications, and maintain product knowledge and displays. Prior retail experience and proficiency with Eagle Browser and POS systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience working in a retail environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of Eagle Browser.
• Experience working in different departments of the store.
• Intermediate knowledge of operating a POS system.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and help locate products.
• Support daily store operations including merchandising and signage standards.
• Train new associates on systems, procedures and product knowledge.
• Create and implement daily worklists and goals for staff.
• Assume duties of Store Manager and Assistant Managers when scheduled.
• Open and close the store as needed and scheduled.
• Lead store meetings and communicate store goals/objectives.
• Answer incoming phone calls and coordinate radio communications.
• Maintain knowledge of Coastal Farm products and promotions.
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and housekeeping.
• Perform cleaning and other duties as needed.
