(UNFI) seeks a Sales Consultant – Center Store to drive growth for Center Store categories/brands across an assigned territory, with a focus on achieving margin targets and collaborating with Region Sales for key accounts. The role emphasizes category expertise and strong stakeholder engagement.

The candidate will develop plans with retailers, manage sales performance, and participate in in-person events and store visits to support category strategy and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience and training.
• Five years of related experience required.
• Center Store category/brand experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales plans with key retailers to position Center Store categories/brands.
• Collaborate with Region Sales as Center Store expert to drive growth with key accounts.
• Manage sales and profit results within assigned territory for Center Store categories/brands.
• Identify customer needs to preserve existing business and develop new opportunities in accounts.
• Monitor progress and margin to ensure expected outcomes.
• Provide training and support to Region Sales on Center Store strategy and initiatives.
• Participate in UNFI and industry events to drive category sales and perform store visits and account meetings.
