Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking an experienced supervisor for on-site leadership of staff and volunteers in an early learning center.

You will oversee daily staffing, attendance, and onboarding while ensuring compliance with Head Start standards and organizational policies. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or related field and substantial leadership or management experience in a nonprofit education setting, with strong HR knowledge and record-keeping

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or related field with 3+ years leadership/management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Head Start practices and Early Childhood Development and/or HR.
• Working knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site supervision for all staff and volunteers at assigned centers.
• Monitor staff attendance, conferences on variances, and maintain attendance/leave records.
• Orient new staff within five days; coach/mentor during probation and arrange training as needed.
• Conduct probationary performance reviews and mid-year/annual evaluations.
• Develop Employee Improvement Plans when warranted under Performance Appraisal processes.
• Maintain credentials and records for staff pursuing educational requirements.
