Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Early Childhood Development or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Head Start practices and HR.
• Experience in administration and supervision in a non-profit setting.
• Must have a valid Mississippi driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site supervision for all staff and volunteers, informing the Regional Administrator of staffing needs.
• Monitor staff attendance and absenteeism daily; maintain records (T&A, Sign-In Roster, leave) and address variances.
• Orient new staff within five days; coach and arrange training as needed.
• Conduct probationary performance reviews per policy and document process.
• Perform mid-year and annual staff evaluations according to schedule.
• Develop Employee Improvement Plans when warranted.
• Maintain up-to-date credentials and progress toward educational requirements for staff.
• Arrange pre-approved release-time for professional development while maintaining staff:child ratio.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or related field

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related management field with 18 hours in Early Childhood Development
