Job summary

Heart of Florida Health Center seeks a Center Nurse Manager to organize and direct clinical operations across support staff in Ocala, FL. You will ensure policy adherence, staff competence, inventory control, and equipment calibration while promoting teamwork and accountability.

You will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and supervise clinical staff, perform performance evaluations, and support patient care excellence in a busy primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure with 3–5 years of nursing leadership experience.
• Experience in an FQHC setting and physician practice preferred.
• Skilled in primary care or 2+ years bedside hospital nursing.
• Proficient in phlebotomy, EKGs, urgent care and injections per orders.
• Excellent customer service and staff coaching ability.
• BLS certification from recognized organizations required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical support staff and ensure adherence to policies.
• Manage inventory, vaccines, and equipment calibration.
• Coordinate patient flow and improve practice efficiency.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.
