Job summary

Responsibilities include evaluating the care environment, planning delivery of patient care, managing budgets, and driving process improvements while ensuring safety and compliance across the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing with a BSN required.
• MSN/DNP or BSN with a graduate degree preferred.
• Current Florida RN licensure or NLC required.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and operational oversight for an inpatient unit.
• Achieves department and hospital goals with leadership teams.
• Evaluates environment for quality service, safety and compliance.
• Plans and directs delivery of patient care to sustain outcomes.
• Leads change management and develops nursing delivery models.
• Participates in budgeting and cost management for the unit.
