Job summary

State of South Carolina is seeking a leader to oversee a Work Training Center within the Vocational Rehabilitation Department. This role directs daily operations, coordinating production, purchasing, and safety while fostering strong partnerships with local businesses.

The position emphasizes job readiness training for South Carolinians with disabilities to help them secure and maintain competitive employment, with responsibilities extending to related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in rehabilitation, business administration or the behavioral sciences or a related field plus four years of rehabilitation or manufacturing experience.
• Relevant experience may be substituted for the required diploma on a year-for-year basis.
• Prefer at least two years of supervisory experience.
