Job summary

KidStrong Glendale is seeking a General Manager to lead the center, foster a culture of learning for coaches and families, and drive exceptional experiences.

You will develop the coaching team, build member relationships, and deliver key business results like sales and lower attrition. The role demands active leadership, scheduling, event promotion, and staff development to maintain high standards across programming.

Qualifications

• Athletic coaching background with experience working with or coaching kids ages 15 months - 11 years.
• Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification team.
• Training via LearnUpon as required by HQ Training and Certification.
• Comfortable speaking to parents/guardians about a variety of topics.
• Management experience is required.
• Practical experience with Google and Microsoft platforms.
• Experience with ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, ADP, and FranConnect is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and monitor center KPIs and financials to guide decisions.
• Build relationships with KidStrong families and provide exceptional service.
• Oversee center-level initiatives like maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Schedule, promote, and sell KidStrong events to drive profitability.
• Lead and develop coaching staff and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Conduct weekly leadership meetings focusing on culture, development, and product.
• Coordinate coaching schedules and ensure high standards of programming.
