Job summary

KidStrong is seeking a General Manager at the Arrowhead center in Glendale, AZ. You will lead center operations, coach development, and deliver exceptional experiences to families while driving sales performance and member retention.

You will train and mentor coaches, manage KPI-driven initiatives, and collaborate with HQ to ensure brand consistency and program quality. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a passion for children’s development.

Qualifications

• Athletic or coaching background with kids 15 months–11 years.
• Achieve Coach Certification through HQ Training and Certification team.
• Complete LearnUpon training as required by HQ.
• Strong communication with parents/guardians.
• Pediatric OT/PT experience is a plus but not required.
• Previous management experience required.
• Proficient with Google and Microsoft tools.
• Experience with ZenPlanner, LearnUpon, CareerPlug, ADP and FranConnect preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand the center’s key KPIs and financials to make informed decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with KidStrong families to provide exceptional service.
• Oversee center-level initiatives including maintenance, training, and brand consistency.
• Daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and center task delegation.
• Manage center-level staff issues and documentation.
• Schedule, promote, and sell KidStrong events to maximize profitability.
• Lead coaching staff through training and evaluations.
• Attend weekly leadership meetings.
