Job summary

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania's Center for Student Engagement and Belonging is seeking a Student Worker to help create a welcoming space. You’ll support front-desk coverage, assist with events, and help staff with day-to-day projects.

As the Center for Student Engagement and Belonging Student Worker, you’ll help create a welcoming, inviting space for everyone who walks through our doors. You’ll support the team with front-desk coverage, jump in on center events, and assist staff with day-to-day projects.

• Answer phones and emails, help with basic questions, and take quick messages for the team.
• Keep things running smoothly with simple day-to-day office tasks like printing, data entry, scanning, and mail.
• Jump in on campus events by helping set up spaces, checking students in, and passing out gear or flyers.
• Keep the office and front desk area organized, and stocked with basic supplies.
• Team up with staff on fun projects, research, and extra tasks as they come up during the semester.

• Current ESU Student

Hours

• Ten hours per week, with the potential to 20 hours based on workload.

Pay Rate

• $9 per hour

Employment Eligibility & University Commitment

Must be at least 18 years old and have English literacy skills. Employment with ESU is contingent on the selected candidate passing a thorough background check that includes: FBI fingerprinting, PA Child Abuse, and employment.
