Job summary

East Stroudsburg University’s Gender and Sexuality Center is seeking a Student Worker to support front-desk coverage, assist with campus events, and help staff with day-to-day projects. You’ll help create a welcoming space for all visitors and connect them with the right person or office.

As a current ESU student, you’ll work about 10–20 hours per week at $9 per hour, with background checks and employment eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Welcome fellow students and visitors and connect them with the right person or office.
• Answer phones and emails, help with basic questions, and take quick messages for the team.
• Keep things running smoothly with simple day-to-day office tasks like printing, data entry, scanning, and mail.
• Jump in on campus events by helping set up spaces, checking students in, and passing out gear or flyers.
• Keep the office and front desk area organized, and stocked with basic supplies.
• Team up with staff on fun projects, research, and extra tasks as they come up during the semester.
