TheDivision of Economic Development and Entrepreneurship is seeking motivatedstudents to join our University Center Ambassador Team. This role will provideopportunities to build leadership, customer service, and event managementskills while playing a key role in welcoming students, faculty, and communitymembers to ESU's new hub for campus life.

YourRole as a University Center Ambassador
- Customer Service & Information - Be the welcoming face of ESU! You'll greet visitors, answer questions, assist by phone, and help guests navigate events and services throughout the building.
- Building Operations - Help keep the center running smoothly by checking rooms, ensuring spaces are ready for events, and assisting with opening/closing procedures.
- Event Support - Organize campus events by setting up rooms, posting signage on bulleting boards, and making sure events follow university guidelines.
- Administrative Support - Build professional office skills with tasks like data entry, inventory tracking, and campus deliveries.

- University Center Ambassadors aredependable, professional students who can represent ESU with excellence in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills - Ability to provide courteous and professional assistance to students, staff, faculty and visitors.
- Organizational & Multitasking Ability - Capable of managing multiple priorities, maintaining orderly spaces, and ensuring events and schedules run smoothly.
- Technical Proficiency - Proficiency in using computer programs for data entry, scheduling, and administrative tasks with great attention to details.
- Dependability & Professionalism - Reliable attendance and a commitment to supporting building operations, including early morning, late night, and weekend shifts as needed.
Work Hours
- The University Center will operate during the following hours:
- Monday - Friday: 7:30 a.m. - Midnight
- Saturday: Noon - Midnight
- Sunday: Noon - Midnight
- Weekend hours may be extended or adjusted to support major campus events such as athletic competitions, Homecoming, and other large-scale programs.
Employment Eligibility & University Commitment
Must be at least 18 years old and have English literacy skills. Employment with ESU is contingent on the selected candidate passing a thorough background check that includes: FBI fingerprinting, PA Child Abuse, and employment/degree verifications. We are proud ESU is an equal-opportunity employer.
