Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory invites applications for a WBC Director to lead the William Booth Center's programs and operations in Seattle. This full-time, exempt role will oversee program management, budgeting, and funding development, working closely with the Director of Operations and program managers.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in a related field and have experience in residential services, supervision, and working with veterans.

Qualifications

Master's degree preferred; related field considered
One year of experience in residential services for adults
3 years supervisory experience
Knowledge/experience with Veterans preferred

Responsibilities

Establishes and maintains The Salvation Army's mission with program goals and objectives in consultation with the Director of Seattle Social Services
Represents the organization to funding agencies and donors
Maintains relationships with community partners and other service organizations
Oversees grant funding submission and administration in collaboration with Contract Compliance Specialist
Represents WBC and The Salvation Army to government, funding sources, and public
Coordinates program activities with community organizations and provides tours/donor presentations
Manages budget, grants, reporting, and purchasing in coordination with the business manager
Ensures compliance with contracts, accreditation, and ethical standards
Participates in strategic planning and staff development
Ensures proper internal structure and staffing to meet goals
Maintains operations through policy development and professional conduct
Maintains confidentiality and professional knowledge through training
