Job summary

The Salvation Army Spokane Corps is seeking a dynamic director to lead community social services in Spokane, WA. The role oversees multiple programs, manages contracts, and ensures budget compliance to deliver impact for vulnerable populations.

You will supervise staff and volunteers, drive policy development, and coordinate with stakeholders to sustain funding and program quality. A strong background in social services administration is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in social work or related field.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience preferred; 8 years with a BA.
• Experience administering and complying with private and public funding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Community Services, Family Emergency Shelter, and related programs.
• Manage government and private contracts; ensure contract guidelines are met.
• Develop and monitor program budgets and billing in line with TSA standards.
• Provide staff training, CQI activities, and data-driven program improvements.
• Recruit, supervise and mentor staff, interns, and volunteers.
