Job summary

Achieving True Self is seeking a part-time Speech Language Pathologist to deliver comprehensive assessment and intervention services at our Center of Achievement in Abingdon, MD. The role emphasizes data-driven therapy and collaboration with families and caregivers in a center-based setting.

Required qualifications include a Master’s Degree, SLP license, and ASHA certification is a plus; experience with Autism is preferred; Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree required.
• Speech and Language Pathologist License required.
• ASHA Certification is a plus.
• Comfortable working with all age ranges.
• Experience with Autism strongly preferred.
• Able to problem-solve, communicate well, and remain organized.
• Valid driver's license with car insurance and good driving record.
• Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered treatment with ethical care.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and related disorders.
• Create individualized assessments and reassessments per deadlines.
• Maintain data collection and treatment records.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and treatment teams.
• Engage with community events to develop referrals.
• Provide counseling and consultations for new clients.
