Job summary

The role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and families, and supporting IEP goals. ASHA certification and Maryland SLP licensure are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• MD State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or willing to obtain.
• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA (if not CF).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based speech-language pathology interventions to support articulation, language, and fluency.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and school-based teams to implement strategies in the classroom.
• Monitor progress and document sessions, progress reports, and billing documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and stay current with best practices in the field.
• Ensure compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations and ethical standards.
