Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs speech therapy services per standards and policies.
• Assesses patients and develops individualized treatment plans.
• Sets short- and long-term treatment objectives and reevaluates as needed.
• Documents evaluations and care in medical records.
• Communicates results and plans to patients and families.
• Provides therapy education and counseling to individuals.
• Mentors clinical team members and students when eligible.
• Delivers patient-centered care and quality service.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Proposes improvements and new treatment techniques.
• Reports issues to leadership and supports resolution.
