Job summary

DSST Public Schools seeks Center Program Special Education Teachers for multiple Colorado locations. You will lead instruction and case management within a center-based program, serving students with a range of disabilities and learning needs.

Qualifications

• Requires teaching license and Colorado Special Education Endorsement.
• Ideal candidate has commitment to diverse learners and experience with positive behavior supports.

Responsibilities

• Be an IEP Case Manager for a portfolio of students, writing data-driven IEPs and goals.
• Ensure accommodations/modifications are implemented with consistency.
• Supervise and develop a team of Paraprofessionals.
• Deliver rigorous, culturally responsive instruction to 3–5 classes daily.
• Track student growth using varied assessment tools and guide instruction.
• Promote a positive classroom and school culture and engage families.
