Job summary

Propel Autism is seeking a Center Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver one-on-one therapy in our clinic. You will be supervised in-person by BCBA supervisors and engaged in data collection, session notes, and progress tracking.

The role emphasizes daily pairing, engagement, and building client rapport while supporting social interactions and participation in group activities within the clinic.

Qualifications

• RBT certification through the BACB is required.
• A high school diploma or higher is required; bachelor’s preferred for advancement.
• Must pass Propel background check and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one therapy focused on skill acquisition in the Propel clinic.
• Accompany the client throughout the day, capturing learning opportunities in natural settings.
• Support social interactions with peers and participation in clinic activities.
• Prioritize pairing daily using play to build rapport with the client.
• Maintain the client’s dignity and obtain assent in interactions.
• Take accurate data and write session notes the same day services are delivered.

Intro:

As a Center-based RBT you will:

• Provide one on one therapy focused on skill acquisition to a child in the Propel clinic
• Accompany your client throughout your day, capturing and contriving learning opportunities in the natural environment.
• Collaboratively scaffold your client’s social interactions with their peers and their participation in group activities in the clinic.
• Prioritize pairing daily, using play and engagement to build a strong relationship with your client
• Keep your client’s dignity and assent at the forefront of all interactions
• Take accurate data and write detailed session notes that are submitted same day as services being delivered.

You will need:

• An RBT certification through the BACB (bacb.com)
• A high school diploma at minimum, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must pass Propel administered background check
• Must have an active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
