Job summary

Propel Autism is seeking a Center-based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on delivering one-on-one therapy to children with autism within our clinic, under direct BCBA supervision.

You will accompany clients throughout the day, capturing learning opportunities and supporting social interactions in group activities, while prioritizing pairing and maintaining the child’s dignity and assent.

Qualifications

• RBT certification through BACB.
• High school diploma minimum; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must pass Propel background check and have an active driver’s license with proof of auto insurance.
• In-person supervision by BCBA professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one therapy focused on skill acquisition in the Propel clinic.
• Accompany the client throughout the day and capture learning opportunities in natural environments.
• Collaboratively scaffold social interactions with peers and group activities in the clinic.
• Prioritize pairing daily, using play and engagement to build rapport with the client.

• Take accurate data and write detailed session notes submitted on the same day.

As a Center-based RBT you will:

• Provide one on one therapy focused on skill acquisition to a child in the Propel clinic
• Accompany your client throughout their day, capturing and contriving learning opportunities in the natural environment.
• Collaboratively scaffold your client’s social interactions with their peers and their participation in group activities in the clinic.
• Prioritize pairing daily, using play and engagement to build a strong relationship with your client
• Keep your client’s dignity and assent at the forefront of all interactions
• Take accurate data and write detailed session notes that are submitted same day as services being delivered.

You will need:

• An RBT certification through the BACB (bacb.com)
