Job summary

Propel Autism, LLC is seeking a Center-based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with Autism in a clinic setting. The role emphasizes in-person supervision from BCBA’s and on-going development opportunities within the organization.

You will provide one-on-one therapy, track progress with data, and participate in group activities while promoting client dignity and assent throughout sessions. A background check and active driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one therapy focused on skill acquisition in Propel clinic.
• Accompany the client throughout the day and capture learning opportunities in natural environments.
• Collaborate to scaffold social interactions with peers and group activities in the clinic.
• Prioritize pairing daily using play to build rapport with the client.
• Maintain client dignity and obtain assent in interactions.
• Take accurate data and write session notes to be submitted the same day.

Intro:

Propel Autism is looking for fun, engaging RBT’s who are excited about making a difference in the lives of children with Autism. As a Center-based RBT you will:

• Provide one on one therapy focused on skill acquisition to a child in the Propel clinic
• Accompany your client throughout your day, capturing and contriving learning opportunities in the natural environment.
• Collaboratively scaffold your client’s social interactions with their peers and their participation in group activities in the clinic.
• Prioritize pairing daily, using play and engagement to build a strong relationship with your client
• Keep your client’s dignity and assent at the forefront of all interactions
• Take accurate data and write detailed session notes that are submitted same day as services being delivered.

You will need:

• An RBT certification through the BACB (bacb.com)
• A high school diploma at minimum, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must pass Propel administered background check
• Must have an active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
